# Special behaviors

> Lambda-specific stamping paths that differ from the ordinary income, payment, or credit stamp.

Most documents follow a straight path: validate, stamp, deliver. Some CargoWise shapes trigger a Lambda-owned decision that is easy to misread if you only look at the document type.

These pages explain those decisions one at a time.

## When to use this section

Use a special-behavior page when the workspace outcome is not a normal stamp of the same document kind — for example a credit that finishes as **Credit completed**, a payment that omits some parents, or a Government Number that Lambda only records.
